HOW TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE/NOTE
University of Malaya Law Review welcomes submissions of comments, notes or articles on recent issues or case laws. Pieces may address multiple topics on a related subject.

University of Malaya Law Review requests that contributors comply with the following standards:
Electronic Submission
We strongly encourage contributors to submit their manuscripts through our electronic submission system, preferably in Microsoft Word format. Manuscripts shall be emailed to [email protected]. Alternatively, hard copy manuscripts can be mailed to; The Editor-in-Chief, University of Malaya Law Review, The Faculty of Law, University of Malaya, 50603 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Said submissions must not be previously published. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
Length Limitations
The University of Malaya Law Review strongly prefers comments within the range of 2,000 to 5,000 words, notes of approximately 8,000 words, and articles of approximately 10,000 words in length excluding footnotes. Length in excess of the word limits provided will weigh significantly against selection.
Anonymous Review
To accommodate our anonymous review process, please omit your name, affiliation, and biographical information from the manuscript and confine them to a separate cover page.
Submission Format
Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. Footnotes and the format of submission should conform to the University of Malaya Law Review Style and Citation Manual (3rd edition) downloadable below in pdf format;
